Labor Day weekend and new daycare

I am sorry for the delay in creating a new post. 5 days of not working made me lazy I think. To help me relax and not think about work, I read most of the Twilight series again. I know, I know.. I am crazy. But I enjoyed reading New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn again... In 10 days. It is out of my system again so now I can concentrate on other things...
Mark and I are still trying for another bundle of joy. Maybe once Cael is completely weened it will happen. I guess we will just wait and see.
The last two weekends have been good for college football which is always nice.. got to keep our men happy! :) Go Gators, Go Blue, Go Huskers...

Cael started a new day care on 09/08/09. He and his class made fun policeman hats. He loves playing with his new friends and his teachers. As many of you know, daycares provide a sheet each day of what your child did for the day. On the first day they had commented how much Cael had enjoyed lunch. Apparently he ate his food and then helped himself to his neighbor's. :) That's my boy!
Cael is such a BIG boy. Everyone morning he watches me get ready in the bathroom. He combs his own hair....
And brushes his teeth.

On our 5 day weekend as a family we spent a lot of time just hanging out and enjoying each other. We went to the park, the mall, the fair, the children's museum, and Cael's favorite store, Wal-Mart. :)

Daddy won Cael this dinosaur at the fair. It is kind of a funny story. Those 'carny' folk are pretty slick.. Mark spent about $20.00 to throw darts at balloons to win this stuffed animal.

Mommy and Cael had some ice cream for the first time in over a year. Yummy, yummy! We had a fudge sundae.

At the fair we also found a ride we could all ride together, and that Cael could ride being less than 36inches tall. We rode one of those that spun around on a large axis but then you could make your own container go fast by spinning the wheel in the center. I was so proud of Cael, he didn't get sick! I can't wait until next year when he can ride more of the rides.
There was a fun petting zoo at the fair. Cael loved to watch us pet and feed the goats.
The big Clydesdales were beautiful!
I had to take a picture of this funny looking chicken. It is a white crested black polish pullet. Hee, hee, hee.. That made us think of Dziedze!

Cael checked out all the 4H animals.. We saw rabbits, roosters, chickens, sheep, cows, goats, ducks, geese, and hogs.
We had to sport our Gator gear for the college football opening weekend.
Cael loves to swing!
And he likes to climb all over the playground equipment, and slide down the slides.

Mark and his mini-me.

Too cute for words!!!!!
