Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas to all!!! These first pictures were taken when we put the tree up shortly after Thanksgiving.

Emmett calls his little brother 'Wyatt the cutie' or 'chicken thighs.'

Emmett is my little blue-eyed devil.  He has definitely hit his terrible twos with this sassy talk.  You can't help but smile and love him though. :)

On Christmas Eve we made sugar cookies and decorated them for Santa.
Mommy had cookie duty and then Daddy took over.
Emmett's mouth was all blue... I should have taken a picture of that.  Cael was very focused on making the best cookies.
The boys got to open one present on Christmas Eve....
 Cute Christmas pajamas!
Cael has been tall and skinny and the little pants just accentuate his lankiness.  Emmett is thinning out.. just look at that long neck.
Brothers and best buds looking extra cute!
And of course Mr Hair himself is so darn cute.
 Say cheese!
The older boys love their brother and always want to hold him, talk to him, be near him... precious!

The boys must have been on the nice list because Santa brought some awesome toys!  All Cael wanted was a Bat-mobile and Emmett wanted a shield...
Santa also brought them some bikes.

 Daddy got some cologne
Emmett liked to keep his mask/helmet on.
The Ben 10 armbands were a big hit.. great find Daddy.  With these the boys can be Ben 10, Voltron, Power Rangers, etc.
I got some warm comfy footed pjs.

Wyatt slept through most of the gift opening early Christmas morning.  He didn't mind though.
 What a happy baby!!!
Mark surprised me this year with beautiful jewelry and a Kindle Fire.  Thank you honey-bunny!  I love you bunches and bunches.
We wish we could have been closer to our family but we appreciate all the gifts you sent the boys.  Thank you Granny, Grandpa, Beesha, and Dziedze!

Cute boys....

So here are some pictures of the boys... sorry it has been a little while.
Wyatt's first Halloween.
Cael and Emmett love holding their little brother.
Emmett carries these two toys around and calls them his 'swinging things.'  We watched Voltron Force so now he pretends he is Voltron all the time.  He put on his boots himself.
Hello cute smiley boy.  He has been smiling so much.  He loves his daddy.  Wyatt starts grinning as soon as Mark starts talking to him.
Happy baby!
The boys love to talk to their brother... trying to get him to smile at them.
Love you all!

Getting settled in....

So we finally had someone give us an offer on our two bedroom townhouse.  We received it when I had 2 days left on maternity leave.  It is awesome and we are so blessed.  I just wish we had better timing.  So anyway we accepted and are due to close 11/30/12.  We moved out of there into a larger townhouse which we will rent for a while until we find something we like enough to buy.  We went from 2 bedrooms and 1.5 baths to 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths.  I know my mom and mother-in-law are curious about our new space so I took some pictures... Here is my tour.  Oh, but please excuse the mess!  We are still figuring out where to put things.
So this is coming in the front door... I think we will move this little bench and place for shoes out to the garage once we clean up out there.
Around the corner you move into the main living area...
To the immediate right is a .5 bath...
kitchen and eating area... you see we've already hung up some pictures...
Good size kitchen....

living room.... Cael laying on the floor.  We've not hung up anything here yet and still trying to decide what to do.  But there is lots of room.  We want to get a bookshelf or something so we can put out some of decorations that are not for hanging.
So going back to the front and going up the stairs to the bedrooms....
At the top of the stairs to the right is a linen closet and then beside that is the entry into the master suite.  Mark and I have never had a such a LARGE area.  Here is the master bath with double vanity, LARGE shower, and toilet...
Walk in closet... hard to get a good view.  But it is BIG with lots of shelves...
The main view of our room.  Lots of room for bed, dresser, desk with computer...
elliptical, and baby swing.. oh and with a handsome baby.. Wyatt is such a good sport.
Out of our room to the right is the bathroom for the boys. Frogs... I think it is appropriate.  Cael wanted Lightning McQueen but I just couldn't do it.
Out of the bathroom to the next room is Wyatt's room.  I am so excited to get the crib out and the cute bedding.  Lots of room for the crib, changing table, dresser, toys, and we will put the glider.
All the rooms have big closets which is awesome.
Then we have the big boys' room.  They have their beds on this way so we have plenty of room for the toys.
Everything fits in the room because the closet is big enough for their dresser.

Mark was awesome when it came to the move (not that he is not handsome all the time).  He loaded up the van and took a little bit every day for about 4 days, starting on a Tuesday.  Then friends helped us with the big stuff last Friday (not yesterday but the Friday before).  Mark got the rest of the stuff out of our storage unit yesterday and we are all moved in.  Thank you, thank you to my husband for getting so much done.  It was awesome to not have to worry about that while I am getting back into my groove at work.

Wyatt is just over 8 weeks

Daddy time.  Wyatt was just looking at Mark and grinning a little.  I couldn't catch the smile with the camera.
We think Wyatt looks like Cael did but with hair.  Cheese!
Go Gators!  We watched them stomp and chomp all over South Carolina.
Wyatt loves bath time now... it is so relaxing.  Look at that belly.
So serious... check out that red hair!
He loves his alone time to just lay on his back and kick and play.  He was smiling and cooing.  So darn cute!
I got on the scale without him and then with him to get a rough weight... I'd say just over 12 lbs.  His 2 month appointment is Monday so we will get an official weight and length then.
