Hello teeth, good bye soy... here comes winter??

Hello all! I am sorry I did not post anything new over the weekend. I have been crazy busy with work and Cael is getting some more teeth! Yikes! So he has been Mr. Cranky Pants over the weekend. Saturday morning I had hoped to sleep in but he was up at 5:30am. He had two very short naps throughout the day and then was up until 10:30pm. Sunday it was a little bit better... he actually behaved very well during sacrament meeting but then did not want to go to bed last night. Today he seemed better and he went right to bed tonight.

Oh and over the weekend he had cow's milk for the first time! That is right, we are cruising along with the dairy. He doesn't seem to like the taste so much right now but I am sure he will warm up to it soon. If he can drink soy milk which tastes like chalk I am sure he will like the cow's milk. He was a little gassy but that is about it. We will try the milk until the weekend and then maybe we will get to try ice cream!!! Mommy is doing the dairy in moderation... for 1 my body is not adjusting as well and 2 I like being skinny!

Mark, Cael, and I have a 5 day weekend coming up! I am exciting to spend so much time together and have a break from work. The state fair is in town so I am sure we will check that out. We also have several things to do around the house with autumn approaching so quickly. This morning it was 44 degrees with a high of 72! I am not ready for the 'football' weather but it is coming anyway. We did buy Cael some new clothes over the weekend in preparation of the dropping temperatures. 3T tops and 2T bottoms; I had to roll up the sleeves and pant legs but I am okay with him growing into them.

Well, I hope to have a more exciting post the next time... I did record Cael dancing but I have not figured out how to get it uploaded; I keep getting an error.

Last night we went to a baseball game. Go Saltdogs go! We had lots of fun! We took a blanket and sat on the grassy burns behind third base. As you can see it was a little 0n the chilly side by the end of the game.

Cael was a little restless but it was nothing cotton candy wouldn't cure. He and I also shared a soft pretzel! Yum, yum.

Yesterday we went to the children's zoo here in Lincoln for a birthday party.

I am the smallest I've been in a while.. I don't think this photo captured it so well. I am wearing a medium size shirt... the first time since high school!

Cael pulled the bunny ears out of the toy box and wanted me to put them on his head... he just did this again today. The thinks it is hilarious.

What baby does not like to be naked?!

He loved his balloon from Red Robin and he loves pushing that toy all over the house.

While in Jacksonville for Cael's birthday, we did more fun stuff:

Cael just turned 1!!!!

June 29th

We had a Mickey Mouse birthday party! - of course. Cael loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Granny and Grandpa Morgan had a big party with lots of friends and family. Don't you just love the hats Granny made with the cute Mickey ears?!

Thanks to Kara for making Cael's special gluten free, dairy free cake! With Granny's special strawberry topping it sure was yummy!

Cael met his aunt Nanny and cousin Jayme for the first time. With the gang all there we took a Morgan family photo. There was Josh, Ronny, Jayme, Nanette, Granny, Daddy, Grandpa, Mommy, and Cael.

JD was playing down at the river so he gets a candid photo for all to see!

I have finally given in to peer pressure and have created a blog. Sitting at a desk in front of a computer most of the day I avoided doing it at home but look at me now. Thank you Jenilee for your patience as I think I am under way!!!
So Jennie what do you think? It will take me a while to get the hang of it but I'll swing right into it.
